FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is Creatine?
One ingredient: micronised creatine monohydrate (200 mesh). A 5g daily serving, which is two level scoops. Unflavoured, vegan, made in the UK. 500g per tub — 100 servings, about 30p a day.
Who is it for?
Anyone who trains: lifters, runners, team sports, combat sports, HIIT — and anyone who wants everyday efforts to feel repeatable. Creatine's benefit applies to short bursts of high-intensity effort, in the gym and beyond.
Will it make me bulky?
No. Creatine is not a mass gainer or a hormone. It helps your muscles perform repeated efforts. Body composition changes come from your training and diet, not from this scoop.
Can women take creatine?
Yes. Creatine is well studied in women and supports the same strength and performance benefits. It won't make you bulky — it simply helps your muscles perform repeated efforts. Same 5g daily serving.
Why two scoops instead of one?
Because 5g is the serving the research is built on, and our scoop holds 2.5g. We'd rather print an awkward number that's true than a tidy one that isn't.
Creatine or protein — which do I need?
Different jobs. Protein is the building material; creatine powers repeated high-intensity efforts. Most people who train seriously use both — and creatine is the cheaper, simpler habit to keep.
Do I take it on rest days?
Yes. Creatine works by keeping your muscle stores saturated, which takes daily consistency — not timing around workouts. Same serving, every day.
Water weight?
Creatine draws water into muscle cells — a normal, intended effect. Some people see 0.5–1kg on the scale in week one. It's hydration in the muscle, not fat.
When will I notice something?
Muscles saturate over 3–4 weeks of daily use. Consistency beats timing — take it whenever suits you.
Do I need a loading phase?
No. Loading (20g/day for a week) just gets you to saturation a little faster with more chance of stomach upset. 5g daily gets you to the same place by week 3–4.
I take medication. Can I use it?
Please check with your doctor or pharmacist first — that's the honest answer any supplement brand should give you.
Is it tested, and can I see the paperwork?
Every batch is manufactured in a UK GMP-standard facility with documentation covering identity, composition and quality. Email us the batch number printed on the base of your tub and we'll send you what we hold for that batch.
We're not yet publishing every certificate openly on the site — whether we can depends on our supply agreement, and we're working through it. Our Certificates page says exactly where we are, including what we haven't done yet.
Delivery and returns?
Free tracked UK shipping on every order. You have a 14-day right to cancel unopened tubs, and we'll always put right anything faulty or damaged — full details on our Returns & Refunds page.
