Where we are on testing

A brand that says "nothing hidden" doesn't get to blur this part, so here it is plainly.

Every Anima product is made in a UK GMP-standard facility, and every pack carries a batch number and best-before date on the base. That is what we can stand behind today.

We do not yet have independent laboratory results to publish, and we are not going to write a sentence that suggests we do.

Look up your batch

Type the number from the base of your pack into our batch lookup. It shows where that batch was made, its best-before date and where independent testing stands.

What we are working toward

Independent third-party testing, commissioned and paid for by us, from a laboratory with no stake in the result, and published on this page against each batch number. For creatine, that means the creatine content itself, the impurities that separate good creatine from cheap creatine, heavy metals and microbiology. We will say which of those tests are UKAS-accredited and which are not.

When the first results are in, they will appear here first, and we will say so plainly.

How to read a lab report: ours or anyone's

Check the batch number matches the pack in your hand. Then look for assay (does the measured amount match the label?), heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury and arsenic, all under regulatory limits) and microbiology. Then check who did the testing, and which tests the lab is accredited for. A named, independent laboratory is evidence. A certificate saying a batch was made to specification is useful paperwork, but it is not a test result.
