Most turmeric on a shelf is ground root, which is roughly 3–5% curcuminoids. Ours is a standardised extract at 95%, with black pepper extract alongside it. Those are the two numbers that decide whether a turmeric capsule is worth anything, and both are on the label.

No authorised UK health claim — on purpose

The category over-claims turmeric for joints, inflammation and most other things. In Great Britain botanical health claims are on hold, so the law authorises nothing for turmeric. We claim nothing. We print the standardisation and the piperine that most brands leave off.

One thing to know about the photographs

Some of our product imagery still shows an earlier pack printed "120 capsules". The pack you receive is 60 capsules, as stated above. New photography is on its way; we'd rather tell you than let you find it in the box.

The paperwork

Every batch is made in a UK GMP-standard facility with documentation covering identity, composition and quality. Email us the batch number on your bottle and we'll send you what we hold for it. We're not yet publishing every certificate openly — where we stand is on our Certificates page.

How to use

Adults, take 1–3 capsules daily with food and water. At one a day the pack lasts 60 days. Do not exceed recommended daily dose.

The science

No authorised UK health claim — on purpose. Botanical health claims are on hold pending EFSA, so the law authorises nothing for turmeric. We make no claim. We print the 95% curcuminoid standardisation and the piperine most brands leave off, and let the published research speak for itself.

Questions, answered

What does “nothing hidden” actually mean?

Every ingredient is printed with its dose, every filler is named, and a Certificate of Analysis is held for each batch against the number on your pack — email us that number and we'll send it. If it isn’t on the label, it isn’t in the pack.

Are the health claims on this site legal?

We only use health claims authorised on the GB nutrition and health claims register, at the doses those claims require. Where a popular claim isn’t authorised — botanicals like ashwagandha and turmeric, or cardiovascular claims for K2 — we say so and make no claim.

Where is it made, and is it tested?

Manufactured in the UK to GMP standard. Each batch is tested for identity, potency and heavy metals (plus microbiology on powders), and the results are held per batch and sent on request.

What about sweeteners and fillers?

No sweeteners, ever. Any bulking or anti-caking agent needed to make a capsule work is named in full in the ingredient list — never hidden behind a “complex”. Every product page has a What’s not in it panel that lists each one and why it is there.
